VR4Inclusion dissemination seminar

Silesian University of Technology is a partner in the Erasmus+ KA2 project entitled "Social and Physical Inclusion of Paraplegic Youth by Using Virtual Reality" (acronym VR4Inclusion). The project is focused on supporting by disable people and coordinated by prof. Tufan Adiguzel from Bahçeşehir University (BAU), Istanbul, Turkey. The SUT coordinator is prof. Mariusz Stępień.

Silesian University of Technology hosted at our department (KENER) two project events - Study visit in October 2018 and Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in February 2019. Representatives of all project partners attended in these events. SUT participated also in two events organized in Turkey by BAU (Transnational Project Meeting and Pilot training) and two organized in Greece by another project partner Tyrtaios - TPM and study visit.

The project is almost completed, so now is time to disseminate results to external beneficiaries. The biggest dissemination summit was organized in Ankara, Turkey on 25 December 2019. SUT organized smaller dissemination seminar for local community, which was held at our department on December 17th, 2019. Participants represented local schools and educational units. Participants represented not only Gliwice (including Academical Secondary School), but also Pyskowice and Wodzislaw Slaski.

Presentations and discussions allow us to conclude that project of such a type are very much expected by the community and they give important support to make live of disable people more interesting and attractive.
